To contribute to a more dynamic development of Tornado energy drink, a Global Functional Drinks Rus companyconducted a comprehensive study of the brand perception by consumers. As a result it was found out that consumers often associate the product with soda, not with an energy drink. Therefore, the GFD decided to change the design of the packaging.
DDVB agency was asked to develop a new concept of packaging design that would fit the category, have a more premium look, be more laconic, communcate brand essence and, thus, stand out among the competitors.
The logo was developed as a traffic sign with an inscribed tornado. It was complemented by funny icons and slogans corresponding one of the Tornado Energy 4 flavors. The new logo looks outside the box compared with the logos of competitors, and the package itself looks bright and attractive.
