Background:

The Lefkadia project was launched in order to create a brand of Russian wines, capable to compete with the products of the major winemaking countries. Its name comes from Lefkadia geographic area, where the vines, later used in wine production, grow. Lefkadia areas are extremely diverse, that provides a good base for experiments with different kinds of grape, and allows to produce different sorts of wine. Therefore, package design should fully reflect the quality of the wine, and determine the traditions of agriculture, associated with this place.

Challenge:

To develop the visual brand identity for Lefkadia (medium price segment).

Solution:

Lefkadia original landscape shape is depicted in a form of a blurred wine stain on a paper.
