For the third year in a row Smart Festival – event with a unique format - unites professionals of design, experts, investors, marketers, startupers, and all those for whom the progressive creative thinking - a way of life. In 2015, the program of Smart festival was divided into three main sections: design, marketing and investment.
Within the "Design Weekend" section Alexander Kovalenko - FMCG-packaging director of DDVB - made as a speaker. His speech was about why it’s necessary to reconsider attitude to the principles of packaging in terms of problems and limitations associated with the promotion of goods. The audience learned the place of the pack in the marketing activities of product promotion and got to know some ways the packaging can communicate with the consumer.
The history of the festival dates back to 2013, when the first "Design Weekend" took place in Voronezh. It’s a public educational project organized by design community in order to improve the quality of design in Russia and for the exchange of practical knowledges and creative ideas. The event attracted many distinguished speakers and participants, and now still successfully expanding and improving the format of the event.
