Annual reports contest: DDVB awarded the best of the best

On 11 of November Dmitriy Peryshkov acted as an expert-moderator of discussion, related to design of annual reports at XII conference “Annual reports:  experience of leaders and new standards”.

Among the participant there were members of the global international initiatives of developing new standards and formats of annual reports, the ambassadors of industrial companies, financial institutions, design agencies, publishers, consulting companies, experts in the field of corporate management, PR and other media. Along with the speakers, they discussed some interesting and very important topics such as:

 

  • The best practices of economy in design
  • The main semantic idea of report and its reflection in the design
  • Web-vs traditional design thinking: confrontation or mutual enrichment

The final and most anticipated part of the conference was the awarding of annual report contest winners, where Dmitry also had an important and honorable role. From the DDVB Chief Creative "hands" prizes and diplomas were awarded to the representatives of the leading Russian companies, whose corporate reporting has earned the highest score of the jury.

The Award is held since 1998 and during that time has become a unique platform for the presentation of annual reports on the results of the previous year, established by industrial companies, financial and non-financial institutions. Evaluation of the leading experts can help not only to reveal the strengths and weaknesses of the reports, but also to emphasize the company's commitment to openness and transparency in business and enhance their investment attractiveness and business reputation.
